The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and drill. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. With this point of view, Shirdi Sai Rural Institute’s Arts, Science and Commerce College, Rahata has been started NCC Unit for girls. The college received permission of 7th Maharashtra Girls Battalion, Aurangabad to admit 53 girls cadets in the Unit from the academic year 2021-22. Under the scheme of National Cadet Corps; our institution runs various social activities like cleaning of college campus, tree plantation in campus as well as nearby villages, blood donation camp, awareness programmes etc. Cadets are regularly attended annual training camp organized by the battalion.
